The Well-being food concept is defined as a positive psychological, physical, emotional, and social relationship with food at both individual and societal levels. Some food can play a role in lifting our mood, energy levels, and concentration, while others can have the opposite effect. Eating well helps to reduce the risk of physical health problems like heart disease and diabetes. It also helps with sleeping patterns, energy levels, and general health. Our mood often affects the types of food people choose, as well as how much they eat.

Key Success Criteria
  • Validated Health claims for weight management, cognitive performance etc.;
  • Applicability to our mainstream product matrices (e.g. biscuits, chocobakery etc);
  • Kitchen logic / clean label

What We Aren't Interested In
  • No artificial flavours, preservatives or colorants;
  • Commercially available ingredients from large vendors.;
  • Health states that would otherwise require medical care.
